From its beginnings in 1987, Fundament & Associates, Inc. has been at the forefront of complex building automation, computerized controls, and energy management systems, obtaining contracts for various types of large-scale facilities. Notable projects include the building automation system for the University of California San Diego including the industrial controls for the central plant, the design for the two million sq. ft. World Trade Center facility in São Paulo, Brazil, the industrial controls design for the San Jose State University Central Plant and various other large university and college campuses.

Fundament & Associates, Inc. is proud to announce the recent completion of the construction document phase for the SJSU Student Union Project. F&A was the full service Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineers on this project designed with a full BIM model utilizing Revit and Navisworks. Construction on this project starts January 2011.
