Since 1987, Fundament & Associates, Inc. has designed and provided services for complex and energy efficient electrical projects.

Our project types include small alterations to existing buildings, site infrastructure and utilities, healthcare renovation and new construction, K-12 renovation and new construction, higher education including recreational centers, student unions, learning resource centers, and science buildings.

Along with medium and line voltage electrical projects, the firm is highly proficient in signal systems including addressable fire alarm, nurse call, CCTV, security, and campus clock systems.  In the area of data and telecom systems Fundament & Associates, Inc. is highly experienced with the increasing demand for flexible connectivity and the requirements for dense server rooms and data equipment.

Many of our projects include large emergency power systems in compliance with OSHPD, NFPA 45, and other codes and standards.

In the area of science and technology the firm has produced small and large scale medical, biomedical, and science research laboratories including renovations and new construction.

All of our electrical designs adhere to high efficiency and energy conservation congruent with the demanding market for low life cycle costs and building systems sustainability.

In addition to electrical design, the firm provides services in the areas of electrical system analysis, energy efficiency and sustainability reports and provides peer review for complex projects including renewable energy such as photovoltaic.

Either in collaboration with lighting designers or through the firm’s own resources, all electrical projects include extensive interior and exterior lighting.  Our lighting projects include exterior ball field lighting, street improvements, campus site lighting, and lighting specialized for indoor environments such as operating and procedure rooms.

Fundament & Associates, Inc. also provides natural light use solutions including day lighting controls, design of natural light shafts and day lighting controls to provide environments that are sustainable and optimize occupant visual comfort.
